I am in the mist of thinking of uograding my motherboard. I would like to combine sound and graphics on the motherboard. As I dont play games on the computer.I was thinking of a MSI K7N2GL motherboard a AMD 2500 CPU and 512 mb memory. How much memory can I use for the on board graphics? If any of you have any idears they will be very welcome

Hi clem. I think NForce is the best way to go if you really want onboard graphics. You don't say what operating system you will be running, but with Windows XP, I would recommend at least 512M ram, and for Windows 98 I would suggest trying with 256M. I would, however query the wisdom of onboard graphics. You can get an NForce2 graphics card with 64M ram for £25.
