html redirect code

Could anyone please tell me the code i need to automatically redirect a visitor to a different address?

Insert this code into the HEAD section of your page:

<meta http-equiv="Refresh" content="20; URL=click here">

Make sure you put the full www. address of the page you want visitors to see, unless it's another page in your site; then you just need to put the page name and the .htm or .html extension. In that situation make sure that the new page is in the same directory in your web as the one that has the redirect code on it.

The 20 value is the number of seconds delay. You can change the value to suit your requirements, but don't set it at less than 10. If you do, search engines will detect it as a spamming measure.

I was in too much of a hurry. After the URL= put the full address of the page you're sending people to, if it's on another site. Otherwise follow the rest of my instructions.
