Hi all Hope I put this in the correct forum (apologies if not)

I installed new hard drive to my lappy hp 17-9100na as the original windows 10 finally pushed over the edge.

I have a clean install of win 7 pro (64bit)

BCM43142802.11bgn wi fi adaptor won't install correctly and I am having a real job locating the correct driver.

Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

............I am having a real job locating the correct driver.

Here's one for you from a trusted source. It's the second link. Even though it's a Lenovo download it should in principle work just as well.

HP support Software and Drivers download click here

Is there a reason you have installed Windows 7 (which is now outdated) instead of reinstalling Windows 10?

Lotvic, please post a link for the Windows 7 drivers because I couldn't find any for the OP's laptop on the HP site.

SS, likewise, and I can't find that model laptop. Link is the HP laptop page for bendybigboots to either enter serial number or let HP identify the laptop so that Software and Drivers for it can listed and downloaded.

............and I can't find that model laptop.

Lotvic, I had no problems finding the OP's laptop on the HP site but the only drivers available for it are for Windows 10.

Bendy, I gave you a practical suggestion earlier - did you fail to spot it?

  bendybigboots 15:31 04 Jul 2018

I did try but no joy I am afraid, I appreciate the effort though

SS, it was the Windows 7 drivers I couldn't find (same as you couldn't) maybe the driver you posted to will work ok.

bendybigboots, Why do you want Windows 7 and not Windows 10?
