Hi all
running XP home SP1 and have recently reformatted both HDD's on my system so as to install a clean version of windows, everything OK but if I leave a bootable cd in my cd drive I.E game disk ,on restarting the comp the install program from that disk will start, even though the program is already installed?
my bios settings :- first boot =floppy/second boot =HDD0 all other boot devices disabled
system comprises 1* system HD 1* storage HD 1* cd rom drive 1* dvd rw drive any ideas?
Cheers all

Well you could just cancel the thing when it starts or you could try turning off auto play for the cd drive but this will affect all cd's that u put in none will start.
