How to stop CCleaner altering my MS Word settings.

  Brumas 18:19 15 Nov 2004

Having read so much positive info about CrapCleaner on the forum I thought I would give it a try. Marvellous, only each time after I run it I have to re-set my choice of label back to
‘Avery L7160’ in (Tools>letters and mailings>envelopes and labels) in Microsoft Word as it changes to an Avery Standard one.

At the moment I use CleanUp! which does a similar sort of thing, but doesn’t seem as comprehensive. If all else fails, I suppose I shall have to go back to using this. Thanks in advance.

For what it's worth - you're not alone.

I have the same problem but I live with it.

However, if anyone knows better..........

Have you tried removing the tick from the Office box on the Applications tab?

Or use CleanUp! click here which is not as viscious.

Thanks Eric10, if only I had thought of that!
Thanks also VoG™, however I did say that I was already using CleanUp! ;o}
Thanks Forum for coming up trumps again.
