How to remove Microsoft Winter fun pack

  ryan25 11:17 15 Feb 2010

My other half installed this Microsoft Winter fun pack the other week via Windows media player.
Our computer is Vista Home premium 2.00 GB.
Therefore this program wont work on our computer.
When my husband installed it it stated it was for use with windows xp and later versions.

My problem is it wont let me uninstall it!!!

The message that appears is "Error 1713. Microsoft Winter fun pack 2004 for windows xp cannot install one of its required products"

Every time i start the computer up it tries to start this program up and fails.

Any advice will be appreciated

If none of the other 2 work it is usually control panel then Add Remove that is what it is in XP not sure about Vista.
It is programs and features in W7 control panel so may be the same in Vista.

I went on Total uninstall and removed it, thankyou
but somehow it has deleted all my documents and pictures.

I did a system restore but my pics and documents have vanished. The files are there what they belonged in but now they are empty.

Any advice please??

Can you do a system restore to before the files disappeared?

Failing that you might want to give this a try (free trial) click here

It worked for me in the past.
