How to remove MediaOne Network

  cazzypurple62 01:19 22 Jul 2008

Hi all,
Recently I have found a small 'device' that installs itself on the lower right hand side of my screen in internet explorer. I have no idea where it came from and am struggling to find an answer to remove it. The 'device' is from MediaOne Network Inc., and opens randomly to show me an advertisement. I find this incredibly annoying and invasive!! If I 'right-click' on the device all is says is '(c) 2005 - 2008 MediaOne Network Inc. all rights reserved'. There is no 'close' or 'exit' to click on and i can't find it in add/remove programs. Have I missed something that has been added to internet explorer that microsoft has installed? BTW it only seems to be on the first window that i open.
thanks in advance,

Have you checked you "add%remove" program list lately?
if after scanning for spyware, adware, malware or virus and alls clean you might try resetting explore to run without add-ons to help you find the culprit.
tools>internet options>advance tab>click the reset button on the bottom>apply
