How to mp3 encode Minidisc tracks

  the_face 15:42 12 Sep 2003

I want to put my student radio shows from MD onto mp3 or wav.

I believe I have the right cable for doing so, but the free edition of Musicmatch jukebox won't allow me to record from an external source.

Can anyone recommend any freeware for doing this?

I tried that one, but the sound quality is awful and it only lets you record up to a minute of sound.

Any other ideas out there?
