Hey all I've been looking at a 500w psu but not 100% sure

Intel i5 4690 12gb ram Sapphire Dual-X Radeon R9 270X OC 2GB GDDR5 x1 ssd x2 hard drive

I was using a Corsair 600w but it went bad :/ Currently looking at EVGA 500B 500W (if anyone has any experience)

If you use a site like this

click here can work out exactly what you need then get one slightly bigger.

Most people suggest that the more you pay the better the PSU. I have never found that to be the case.

If you are already using a 600w with success, then there is no reason to discontinue this, especially with a Corsair branded item. But having said that, a little bit more wattage, might help for the future. What I would not do, is use a less powerful psu, like you intend doing.

I obtain my psu units from eBay, and never had a complete failure yet. Usually if the computer was originally supplied with a 350w psu, then for the small increase in price I normally replace with 500w units.
