there is no competition in this ; I found it a useful and safe tool to check out the effectiveness or not of one"s selected pop-up stopper program:)

  VoG II 21:33 21 Jun 2005

Um but if nobody replies you won't know ... or am I missing something?

  User-312386 21:40 21 Jun 2005

I maybe missing the point here, but that "tester" could be riddled with spyware etc etc.

I for one know mine works, so i am not downloading a third party programme.

Thanks anyway

hopefully all you ARE "missing " are the pop-ups;but ,yup, relies regarding the success of the test ( or disasterous failures ) are useful perhaps for folks to even compare tools/programs too; this particular version of this test has gotten far harder than the one I originally tried too:))

  p;3 21:46 21 Jun 2005

this test thing I for one have not downloaded,:)

the choice to try or not is of course, up to the reader of the thread:)

Kephyr is perfectly safe (it is an anti-malware site) and there is no download involved.
