How do you get rid of intergated graphics?

I AM TRYING TO PUT A NEW CARD IN.
I HAVE UNINSTALED THE OLD ONE IN SETTINGS AND REMOVED THE OLD CARD BUT WHEN I RESTART MY COMPUTER IT SAYS "FOUND NEW HARDWARE " WITH THE OLD CARDS INFORMATION LISTED EVEN THOUGH THERE IS NO CARD FITTED? ANY IDEAS...THANKS.

Have you been into the BIOS to disable onboard graphics?

Why not leave it as you can connect two monitors, but if you want to disable it go into device manager double click display adapters, at th bottom of the general tab you will see a “use this device (enabled)” it is a drop down box that you can choose to disable the display addapter.

if you want to get rid of on board will need to diable it in the bios as ds reports
