  leeknight67 16:42 14 May 2005

OK - another question - Is it the XP Firewall that you wish to disable? If so, Why? If it is because you want to install a different Firewall please note that XP Firewall will automatically disable itself in favour of, say, Zone Alarm or Kerio Firewalls.

See this thread click here

I think the trailer leeknight67 is trying to view comes with a payload, judging by Google - I've advised against it.

Thanks for that - had not seen that other Post.
I did wonder why leeknight67 wanted to disable Firewall.

I see the thread has been ticked ... I do wish people would come back and tell us how they got on, not so much because we're emotionally needy and bask in the glowing thanks, more because it's good to know if our suggestions have done the trick and then we can all learn from them.

I agree with your last comment - but just something we all have to live with I guess, nothing anybody here says or does is going to change that.
