How do you create forms in MS Word with drop down menus.

I want to create a form in word that has a drop down menu or something that will generate a field, e.g. would like to enter a date and then tab across to another field and enter another category.

Many thanks.

View > Toolbars > Forms.

Then click on Dropdown Form Field (3rd from the left) to insert the field. Right click the inserted field and select Properties. Complete the form with the Dropdown's properties.

Thanks VoG, will give that a try.

Can't seem to get that to work? At the moment I have a form and I need to enter title, name, date etc. I want to be able to open the form, click the title form select Mr etc then tab to the next field etc.

Not sure about the macros and when I press tab it doesn't move to the next field just moves the whole fields to the left.

Hope I'm making sense, many thanks.

Once you've designed your form, click the padlock icon on the right of the toolbar. That will lock the form and enable you to tab between the dropdowns.
