Hi I have a wireless router up and running. I now have to connect a device to another router WIRED. I have a Belkin G + MIMO WIRELESS. I want to switch off the wireless facsility and just hav it so it only uses the wired connection. Is this possible. If so how?
Thanks

BIGBAGGY,

Go into the router's set-up pages, probably 192.168.1.1, find the wireless page and turn it off.

Regards,

Felix

If you remove the SSID then nobody can get in. You will have to put another in if you want to start reusing it

Tell me which variant you have and I'll tell you where to find the wireless mode on/off.

Should post here click here for this by the way.
