How do I re-download Windows Movie Maker?

  Patr100 23:37 22 Aug 2007

I had Windows Movie Maker on my XP PC for years - since I did a reinstall plus reinstalled SP2 from a PCA coverdisk - couple of months ago - I haven't had Windows Move Maker - MS says it's only available as part of SP2 - which I have - also running Windows Update doesn't allow me to find or install it, even as a non critical option.

Not available in Add/remove windows components either.

How do I get it back? I don't want to ask MS for a CD.

Find it here;

C:\Program Files\Movie Maker\moviemk.exe

create a shortcut and see if it works as expected.

Scrub that! Problem solved.

For some reason it was not listed in Start/Programs/etc but the relevant files are in C;|Program files\etc so I will just make my own shortcuts to run it.
