How do I put a Web address on my Desk Top

I don't even know if this is possible, but if it is, it would save the time going to 'Bookmarks' etc to contact a much used Web Site such as this.

I am on XP and use Opera.

Yes you can create a web address shortcut on you desktop. Right mouse click on the desktop, you will get a menu, select new , shortcut. A box appears which says create shortcut, just type the website address instead of a program name. Press next then name the shortcut Then finish.

Easily enough:

right click desktop

choose new shortcut, type in the web address.
