how do i open an iso file

i have just downloaded a file of the internet and it is an iso file can someone advise me how to open it i think it has something to do with using a programe called daemen tools lite to open it but cant work it out ,
any help would be much appreaciated

you burn this to a CD/DVD and use it from there. I have only seen reference to "file.iso" in relation to programs that are bootable from a Disk

Could be very wrong though.

Why have you downloaded this if you are not sure about what program to use. Take care ! What is the file and what is it for ?

yes u can use daemon tools to mount the image on a virtual drive and play it

you could also load it into a dvd converting prgram snd save it in mp4
