How do I install Office on a new PC?

I have Office 2003 Pro on my PC, but I have just upgraded my computer and can't find the disc for it. Is it possible to put it on my new PC by making a disc? If so, how would I do this?

No it's not possible. Borrow a disk, if you can and use your serial number.

In short, no. The program needs to make registry entries therefore the instalation cd is required. One good reason for making a backup copy of the cd!
However I do stand to be corrected if anyone does know a way.

You need to find the installation disc - Microsoft Office won't work by just copying the Program Files folder to a new machine - it needs stuff in the registry as well.

Try borrowing a disc from someone if you cannot find yours.

Alternatively you could try downloading and installing OpenOffice instead - it is Free and it will open most Microsoft Office documents and edit them as well.
