How do I get rid of?

  pennypooch 18:31 22 Dec 2010

Each time I boot up I get a window saying "Microsoft.NET Framework Version 2.0 is required to continue"
I have found it on the Microsoft site and tried to download it only to be told it is already installed.
I would love to get rid of the reminder on boot up as it gets rather tedious having to close it each time.

Any ideas on how I can stop this window appearing please.

Been known to be related to lexmark printer drivers.
installing the latest gets rid of the issue...

Thank you.
We do not have a Lexmark printer but a Dell printer. I should have said that this problem appeared when my data was transferred from my old laptop to my new one using the tool that transfers it via DVD. I never had this problem on my old laptop.

If you have changed Operating systems as well,

say gone from Vista to win7 you could still try updating drivers...

I have gone from XP to Win 7 Home premium so that could be the problem. Will try it. Thank you.

Just updated drivers and it has solved the problem.
Can't believe I have put up with it for nearly 12 months when there was a simple solution.
Thank you all very much.
