How do I defrag the Pagefile in WinXP?

  Dan 16:29 12 Oct 2003

I just defragged the main drive on my system (which crawled through it but I guess that's the draw back of having such massive hard drives these days). But when I came to do the smaller restore partition which includes the pagefile.sys although the partition was defragged, the pagefile wasn't.

How do I get WinXP to defrag the pagefile, (which is about 1.5gb), or do I need a third party peice of software?

(Incidentally what prompted this sudden defrag in the first place was a glitching mouse, system freeze, and warm boot which led to an error "pagefile.sys first allocation unit is not valid" and winxp fixed it.)
