how do i broad cast my webcam on the internet?

my son wishes to set upa small web page showing the growth and development of his stick insects (yeuuurrrchhh) and i have suggested a live webcam feed, but i have no idea how to create the page or set the thing up at all!

any advice would be helpful.

i am using frontpage 2003 and webspace is already sorted out

a live webcam stream would require your PC (must be connected to broadband) to act as a server and thus be on and connected all the time.

Then, you can if you have static IP just install the webcam streaming software which will pass an image to the website via FTP every few seconds.

If you dont have static IP, then you need Dynamic DNS service like click here

I am on AOL and am also looking to host a webcam. I think this means I dont have a static IP. I have downloaded the Dynamic DNS service, where do I go from here?

download.com. They seem to have loads of programs that can do this and some are even free!!!!
