How to delete files on C drive?

  Daisy22 14:16 16 Mar 2006

I downloaded a programme which I no longer want as the trial period has finished, but in trying to delete the programme I keep getting an error message saying "moving or deleting this programme can cause some programmes not to run properly etc. do you wish to continue", and the other message is saying "cannot delete .... access is denied..... make sure the programme is not protected"

The programme has gone from Control Panel/Add/Remove Programmes, but the folder is still there in the Programs folder.

Right click on the folder and select Delete.

I don't know what VoG's link was because where I am (not at home!) the network filtered it! However Graham's suggestion would have been the one I'd have given.

I've been trying that already which is when I get the error messages up.

There is only 1 file in the folder which is a .dll file.

Looks excellent and is a free download Genius1 to unlock the locked programme so it can be deleted.

This thread is now locked and can not be replied to.
