Does anyone know of a free pdf converter. I wish to extract some text from a pdf document and print it. Thanks in advance.

I use Scansoft OmniPage 14 but you have to pay. It's a OCR program click here

Try it. All you do is point it to the file

howard63 if you open the document with acrobat reader and then click edit select all copy you can then paste it to a word doc and take out the bits you want and print from the word doc.

Legolas solution is simple and works well, without messing about OCR'ing.

Legolas - unfortunately the pdf I am interested in is a chart and when I copy it to word all the formatting is gone and it is a nightmare to do anything with it.
