how can I monitor router bandwidth?

  ex-parrot 22:21 18 Jan 2008

hi, I'm trying to find a program that will monitor the amount of traffic going through my router, as my router does not have this facility built in, but the only ones I can find say that they are for SNMP enabled routers, (mine isn't SNMP enabled). if anyone could find a suitable program, I would be most grateful
