how to burn more than 80mins??

i have been trying to burn more than the standard 80mins disks using nero6. i have bought some 99mins CDs but seems to recognise them as only 703mb capacity.Deoes anyone know how i can get it to recognise the full 900Mb of my new cds??

in file/expert features have you set up the max cd limit?

To burn 90 min CD your drive must capable of "Over-burning". Have you checked your model supports this? Also be aware that Over-burning can physically damage the CD Drive itself.

I have tried this myself and had to many coasters, i do not think it is worth the trouble.
Better to spend your money on a DVD writer like i did.

This is just my opinion others might think different

You might want to see if there is a firmware upgrade for you CD writer drive.

Many drives benefit in general performance from a firmware upgrade and it may (or may not) help in this situation.

Without knowing the make, model and speed of the drive it is impossible to do anything other than offer general suggestions.
