Hi folks, about 1 month ago i opened an e-mail in my hotmail from a Julie Moore who is a friend of mine - didnt think she had my e-mail address but ok so opened it and what a mistake - whatever happend the net went mad and opened about 60 windows in about 40 secs. It wouldnt stop so i jsut turned the pc off by flicking the switch. Since then my homepage has changed t something called click here and i have had a message from NIS saying trojan.byte so did a scan and got all sorts of *[email protected]:e that i deleted but still no avail regarding homepage - anyone any ideas. I hate it when that *[email protected]:e gets on the pc - just seems to screw it up. Do i need to leave it into pc world or the like? any advice please

Ad-aware click here Spybot click here and CWShredder click here

Download, update and run.

Then get click here and click here to prevent this from happening again.

click here and download the free version of adaware. Run it and delete EVERYTHING it finds...reboot. Report back if there are still problems.

My first "click here" was a typo - follow GANDALF <|:-)>'s link.

Guys that seems to ahve fixed that problem so far - hope it dont come back but just to say thanks alot - so glad i got that fixed was really bugging me - never open e-mails you dont recognise in hotmail again is the lesson. How is it all these porn and mortgage places get our address anyway - its very annoying the way they just hijack your pc. What if my little cousin was using it and up popped porn as has happened to me in the past - it all happens so quick even if i was right beside him he probably would still see something no 10yr old should. Bloody ridiculous. Didnt have the parental controls on as im 27 but i do now.
Anyway gents sincercly indebted to you
