Home Network Setup - My Documents Synchronisation

  TicTacToc 17:50 30 Apr 2006

Hi all,

I have a desktop and a laptop connected to the same wireless network.

I often work on both, so find it annoying when a file is on the other computer. I know I can set up a wireless network so I can easily share files, but this still is a little frustrating (especially where I cant get windows home connection to work very well).

What I would much prefer to have is exactly the same My Documents folder on both, so whenever I worked on a file or changed it, it was synchronised so my My Documents folder is the same on both computers.

Is there any software or anyway I can do this?

I use "Allway Sync" to keep various folders in networked computers synchronised - click here

It can also be used to "sync" external media such as USB flash drives.
