Im having a problem sharing files on my small home network.

Ive got my Windows XP Pro desktop pc connected via a crossover cable to a Windows XP laptop. The IP address of the desktop is 192.168.0.1 and the laptop is 192.168.0.25

The problem is that my desktop can access the shares on my laptop but my laptop cant access the shares on my desktop.

i get the following message:

"\\192.168.0.1 is not accessible. you might not have permissions to use this network resource. Contac the administrator to find out if you have access permissions.

Logon failure: the user has not been ranted the requested logoon type at this computer"

Ive pinged both machines successfully and the share permissions are full control for everyone.

Does anyone know how to figure this one out?
