My computer is an HP Pavilion running Windows XP Home. I no longer get any response from the Help and Support button on the Start menu. I have looked at the log file helpctr.log and the following details are shown :-
2003/10/27 22:13:41
2003/10/27 22:13:41 Script error:

Can anyone explain how the Help and Support can be made to run again. NB:HP do not supply any install or Recovery discs and I therefore have no way of installing a single entity.

That's why An Image file should be made when it's working OK, But sorry about your problem

Thanks to VoG for the practical advice. I downloaded the helpnsupport.reg file from Kelly's and amended my registry with it. Unfortunately I still get the same message in the .log file and the Help and Support still doesn't run.
