Hi folks - new to this site and new to home computing. Im ok on the net with Voyager 2091. trying to go wireless with a BT 1065 adapter and have the 'signal stength' icon bottom right stating excellent.However pc icon has exclamation mark saying 'status-limited or no connectivity'.Tried the broadband helpless - rubbish
Can anyone here help ??

At the moment, the wireless adapter isn't getting its IP address from the router, hence the "Limited
or No Connectivity" indication.

Have you actually "Connected" to the wireless network? In other words, have you run the wireless adapter's software, scanned for "Available Wireless Networks", found and highlighted the one that matches your router's SSID (network name) and selected the option to "Connect" to it? Once "connected", the adapter should get its correct IP address by DHCP from the router.

Where is the pc in relation to the router. eg 40 foot away upstairs with two walls in between

AndySD - laptop is within a metre of the router
mgmcc - i hac gone thru the connection system - but to make sure Ive just uninstalled it, ran the CD and followed the instructions to the letter, selected BT Voyager 2091, connected......but still limited or no connectivity AAHHHH

Any wireless Computer as to have the settings from the router in the Laptop like SSID PASSWORD etc. You need to make a note of details of Route settings then double click on the laptop software in System tray and put the settings in it
