Help - PC Failure

  buster99 16:01 10 Nov 2004

I booted my computer, it went through the first part then went to the blue screen of Win ME and stopped saying there was a failure which was connected to a .dll file.
I went through DOS and located the file which was related to zone alarm and deleted it. I trying booting again but the computer simply stops on the blue screen and won't go any further.
The problem has caused the CD drives to stop working and the only drive which operates is the A drive.
Any ideas ?????????????

What is the .dll file??

Download it, then save to floppy, then reinstall it.

Does a WinME start up floppy not have drivers for your drives on it

Download a Boot disc from click here the WinME OEM then put a floppy disc in drive and double click the download to create a boot disc start with the disc and choose start with CDrom support the CD drive letter will be one letter down from what it was if it was D:\ it will be E:\ and so on change to the drive with your WinME CD in it and type setup press enter
