Help needed to create IMG Boot disk

  Audio~~Chip 20:24 26 Jul 2009

Carrying on from my old post as I have managed tasks upto stage 4 ok. What I am doing is making a Slipstream CD for my Windows XP Home which does not have any Service Pack.

I am following a instruction from a website by Paul Thurrot's supersite for Windows and the page with the intruction is on click here

I am stuck now with Step 5 and making the Bootable CD using Nero. I have Nero OEM v7 installed and am unable to find the same screen layout like the Burning rom picture in his guide.

Can anyone please help me as I have now being going through this procedure for ages. I have the SP3 slipstream and the XP image in the correct folder like instructed

I believe you need to slipstream sp1 before you can slipstream sp3.

Try imageburn which is free from click here

Autostream from click here

Autostream guide from click here

Autostream creates a bootable version including the s/pack which you can burn with imageburn.

You do not need SP1......SP3 as all of them

  woodchip 21:19 26 Jul 2009

You need to create ISO with NERO
