Help I have a Trojan

  Rwstill 23:57 07 Dec 2004

I have Norton anti virus software. Its told me I have a virus.
It named it Trojan Favadd. MY virus definitions are up to date.
I have done a scan it said no viruses found, but looking at the log for the scan it says that there is a virus but access is denied. any one know how to proceed now?
Here is where it is
C:\Documents and Settings\Ralph\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\CYZ09X6L\fav[1].exe
is infected with the Trojan.Favadd virus.
Access to the file was denied.

Thanks for any help.

Well, I have got the latest virus definitions.
Scanned in safe mode as instructed.
It could find no viruses.
Went into the registry, got as far as extentions, when I clicked on that, what came up was
ab Default reg_sz (value not set)

When I clicked on. cmdMapping. The line I was asked to delete was not there.

Do this mean I have not got it?

Thanks for taking interest.

Something I don't understand now is.
When I run clean sweep there is still 36.00kb left on drive C that fails to be cleaned.
Could that be the Trojan?
