You both sent me the link to the identical MS Tool for the job. Excellent !!!

Will this back-up all me emails so I can import them back when I have reinstalled my windows and set-up again.

I did try the Wizard in outlook and as a test try to import back the PST file which was 1GB just over in size and when I pointed it to the location it could not see the PST file on my Desktop. Why didn't the wizard work I wonder.

back to the Tool from Microsoft, will this backup my emails in outlook and also will they restore back and how please

The only think it doesn't tell you is How to import the data back into Outlook!

Open Outlook> File> Import/Export> Import from another program>Next Scroll down to Personal Folder File (.pst)>Browse for where you have backed up and import what you need.

I have just finished using the Outlook Backup Tool to backup my emails to another location now, and the program works exactly as you've said.

Hope this info is of some use to you - good luck!!!
