Help - Graphics Card for new PC

  Balde 21:30 07 Mar 2005

I have an option through work to buy a PC as part of my options package. The PC is na HPt775 but I have to lease it for 3 years. My son does a lot of on-line gaming but is complaining that the old PC(Mesh 1800 wit NVIDEA GeForce 3 ti 200 is too slow.

The graphics card on the Hp is an ATI X300 and I am concerned that it might not be much better.

Can anyone advise as I don't really know? I have in the past tried to keep away from PC package syatem like the one on offer.

Well it could be worse, depends which games he plays online.Question is, if the pc is on lease will you be able to upgrade the graphics card?

Just had a look at the specs for the HPt775 click here and apart from the graphics card the machine ain't too bad.

as ati is already on the pc it will be best to stay with them and upgrade it. depending on what you can afford x700, x800 or better.
