Dear all, how do I get from =SUM('W1'!E$36:F$36) to =SUM('W38'!E$36:F$36) the way I do it at the moment is click on the cell with =SUM('W1'!E$36:F$36)in it and drag it down 38 cells and then manually change the W1 into W2 and so on but I have over 3,000 cells to change so I'm looking for an easier way, hope this is clear enough.

Try

=SUM(INDIRECT("'W"&ROW()&"'!E$36:F$36"))

Sorry, am I missing something here, do I just copy the above and paste it in the appropriate cell and drag it down and job done or do I put some other info in there?

Put the formula in row 1 and fill down. However I'm not sure that I fully understood your requirements but try it anyway.
