Help with buying a new system

  Rocknrollstar 01:07 12 Mar 2006

Im thinking of buying a new system as the one i have now stuggles with the latest games (fear, hl2,battlefield2 etc..
Ive been looking on cyberpowers website for a new system and the Gamer Ultra 900 looks ok but i will configure it to these specs:

AMD Athlon™64 X2 4800+ Dual-Core CPU w/ HyperTransport Technology
2048 MB (1GBx2) PC3200 400MHz Dual Channel DDR MEMORY
ATI Radeon X1900XTX PCI-E x16 512MB VIDEO CARD
PF-500NZXT 500Watt Power Supply (WILL THIS BE ENOUGH).

The questions i have about this system is should i stay with the motherboard listed or go with the ASUS A8R-MVP Radeon Xpress200 CrossFire, bearing in mind that i will be sticking with just the one gfx card (can't afford 2), ive heard some bad things about the A8R-MVP so is it best to stay with the A8N-SLI SE?
The next question is power will the PF-500NZXT 500Watt Power Supply be enough? Other than the small niggles is this a good spec system?

that is a great system for games lucky you lol.

But seriuosly it will run most of the new games around.

dont see point in paying extra for the mobo you have chosen if you are using ATI graphics card (wont need SLI). would get any mobo that supports croosfire and add second card at a later date.

as for the rest of the specs. excellent

I won't be adding a 2nd gfx card now or the future, so taking that into account which would be the better mobo from between the two mentioned above?? (the gfx card im getting is at the top). The only other mobo i would consider is the Asus A8N5X nForce4 (is this anygood?), (i'm not considering anyother mobo)
Please help (but bear in mind its just for 1 gfx card)
Also anyhelp about the power supply would be nice.

The 500 watt power supply will be fine, Rocknrollstar.
