help with buying an all in one printer

  diddi.ash 17:42 25 Mar 2007

Any help with which all in one ink jet printer to buy would be helpfull
I want one that is not too expensive on ink and the ink lasts a good time
I have at the moment a epson dx3800, which i find ok but the scanner part is very slow

I really use it more for printing out my address labels which have pictures on
Also where is the best place to buy from?

Hi diddi.ash
Try the Brother MFC series that uses the L900Y cartridges . These or the THINK equivalents can be obtained from Choice for very cheap prices.

I recently purchased the HP F380 All in one from Ebuyer. Bought and delivered for just under £60.

Scanning is quick so is the printing, and the quality is good too! Ink carts are less than half of what I was spending on my old Lexmark Z65, so I'm very pleased.

To give you an idea, my wife and I printed off some paperwork at the end of January. After over 200 pages of printing on normal draft the cart was still going. (With my old Lexmark, would have been on second cart without a doubt).

For a cheapish all in one, I am very pleased.
