hi i work for an alarm company and we have such things as remote reset codes for alarm
one particular alarm system has reset codes which doesnt have a algorithm we just have a sheet with say

1 = 1234568
2= 8654321

and so on i have 100 of these damn codes
i want to make life easier to find the correct code and reset code by making a dos programm of sum sort

so say if i entered in a box 1 it would then display
1234568 and so on does anyone know how to right this i can imagine the programmin being somthing like

if 1 is entered then display 1234568
if 2 is entered the dislplay 8654321

can anyone help me with the script or what i have to write sorry if this is the wrong place to write this , if so can you give me links to correct places

If you have Excel, just make your list of numbers in column A and reset codes in column B.

In say D1 enter the number to lookup and in E1 the formula

which will return the reset code or #N/A if the number isn't found.
