looking to quieten things down a bit.

amd 4200 dual core. mother/b. asus a8n32-sli/deluxe (awiting arrival)

i am using the h/s and fan that came with the prosseor but it can be a bit noisey.i have looked at the zalman flower but to be honest i don,t fancy the hassle of trying to set it up.so any advice on a fairly quiet one but also one that does a good job of keeping things cool.

i have had a look at various ones but i would really like to hear of personal expereance.thanks.

If it's personal experience that you're after, picklsey, then I'm going to have to recommend anything made by Zalman. There really is no hassle involved in their installation. I'm on my third right now; a 9500 for P4s. As I have not used AMD since the old Thoroughbreds, I can't comment in detail about that side of the Zalman range.
