Last week I got infected with this virus (not sure if thats the correct spelling) - The thing took all my .jpeg .doc .zip. mpeg .wav .mp3 and probably more files, and reduced them to zero bytes.

I've downloaded the latest definitions from Norton, (it seems it's a fairly new virus, and cleaned it from my system, but there was no comments as to if the files could be restored - does anyone here have any ideas?

If you havent got backups of those files , looks like you may have lost them.

Read more about the virus from Sophos click here and Symantec click here
