Bit more info: what version of Windows is it running? What were you doing when it started doing this? Have you installed any software or hardware recently? Can you get into safe mode?

Turn on the computer.
Insert the Master DVD or set of Master CDs in your CD or DVD drive and close the tray.
If you are running Windows, restart the computer by clicking Start, Shut Down and Restart; the system will boot automatically from the Master DVD or CDs.
In the Welcome menu, press <N> to cancel.
Next write TS and press <Enter>.
Select option 1 - DOS Commands.
Select option 9 - SCRIPTS.
Select option 1 - Kill boot sector.
Select option 0 - Back to return.
Next choose option 3 - FDISK.
If FDISK asks whether you wish to enable large disk support, accept with <Y> and press <Enter>.
If the program asks whether NTFS partitions on all drives should be treated as large, type <Y> and press <Enter>.
In FDISK's main menu choose option 1. Create DOS partition or Logical DOS Drive.
Select option 1. Create Primary DOS Partition; the program will check the hard drive.
FDISK will ask you if you want to use the entire available size; answer yes with <Y> and press <Enter>.
When the process has finished, press <Esc> several times to exit the utility.
Now you should restart the system; keep the Master DVD or CD in the optical drive drive.
In the Welcome menu, press <N> to cancel.
Type FORMAT C: and press <Enter>.
At the warning message type <Y> to continue and press <Enter>. The format process may take a few minutes depending on the size of the hard drive.
When finished, Format will ask for a volume label for the drive. Write HDD and press <Enter>.
Finally, restart the computer and run the recovery program (for instructions refer to your User's Guide).
