I have a 40GB Seagate desktop Harddisk.
How can I use this HD in Laptop.
My Sony Vaio laptop has USB 2.0 and Parallel Port.
Please advice me!!!!

Your best bet would be to purchase an IDE to USB cable to connect the hard disk to your laptop USB port. The cables are avalable for about 20-30 pounds.

I apologise if I have misunderstood the question, but if you are thinking of taking a spare 40GB HD and putting it into your laptop, then I think you cannot because you need a physically smaller HD to fit inside any laptop.
