Hard Drives - Allocation of partition letters

I have 2 HDD - currently C & D. I have now partitioned my C drive into 3 using Acronis. My OS [Win ME] now sees the following:

C - original
D - original second drive
E - new partition on C
F - new partition on C

In the past I have used a programme within Windows which enabled me to re-allocate the letters so that I could have them in a logical order - unfortunately I cannot recall how to find it othetr than that I executed it from the "Run" option.

Grateful for advice on finding this tool.
