The acer aspire one ZG5 AOA150 is sold with a sata hard drive with a capacity of either 120gb or 160gb. I am wondering, would a 40gb be compatible? it mas sound stupid, but from what i can see on the web, nobody has the same make/model with a different sixe hard drive. I know they sell an acer aspire one ZG5 AOA100 that has an SSD but im on about a hard drive.
Many early laptops came with small hard drives so I can see no reason why you should have a problem with your Acer Aspire.
As long as it is of a compatible standard (e.g. 2.5" form factor, SATA) I can see no good reason why it shouldn't work as long as it is large enough (in GB) for your needs. You might find the follwing of interest. click here
