hard drive missing in my computer

I installed Kubuntu on my second hard drive and on running my computer in XP the icon is not showing, is this normal, both HD's show in Kubuntu.

Yes XP cannot see the Kubuntu loader.

Do you wish to keep or delete Kubuntu?

Probably delete Kubuntu, I'm going to try PCLinux when the CD arrives.
I'm just checking out Linux to see which one suits me best.

Ok. Launch Recovery Console from WinXP Install CD (you must boot it first) and type


to disable LILO or GRUB.
Kubuntu partitions can be removed in Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Computer Management->Disk Management

For some reason XP will not allow me to run recovery, successfully, it tries to do a reinstall or something equally strange. I appear to have sorted out the boot prob but the second HD is still no showing.
