graphics card problem

hello

i keep getting a meesage up for my graphics card saying power indicator and that my graphics card isnt getting enough power but ive taken the power cable out and refitted again but it keeps coming up any ideas? my card is a nvidia ge fore 6600gt

What size of psu do you have installed?
Have you recently installed any other hardware?
If you have you may be overloading your psu.
You could also try a different power cable.
Also try removing your card and reseating it.

Of course your card may be faulty.

Try unplugging anything connected to USB that you do not need. Some USB devices use the power from the PSU to power them up...
