Graphics Card for 4K Photo editing

Hi everyone, My current monitor is worn and unhappy, so I'm looking at changing it, probably to a 4k monitor, for use primarily for photo editing.

Currently my PC is running an inbuilt Intel HD4000 chipset, which works quite well with my existing 1920x1080 display. Lightroom has some lag of 3 or 4 seconds while the PC renders photos for display, but it's tolerable. I'm guessing a much higher resolution will result in significantly increased display times. The PC is also used for CAD work, which under its current spec is causing no real issues. I do almost no PC gaming, so really not bothered about gaming capability.

The PSU in the PC is a 1kW certified unit with existing power outputs for 2 graphics cards. Rest of the PC spec is...

Intel Core I5 Ivy Bridge 3570K - 3.4 GHz - 6 MB L3 Cache - LGA 1155 Socket Crucial 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz Ballistix Sport Asus P8Z77-V LX OCZ AGT3-25SAT3-240G Agility 3 240GB SATA III 2.5 inch SSD

What kind of graphics card should I be looking at for this change, and what sort of cost am I looking at? If the photo loading time can be kept at its current 3 or 4 seconds that'll be fine, though I won't complain if it's quicker!!
