I search using Google frequently but get annoyed by the list of previous searches that appear whenever I type a letter or two in. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of this?
left mouse click on the google button next to the search box, scroll down to clear history.
open ie, tools>internet options>content>autocompleteclick on clear forms
my instruction was if you use the site but if you have the toolbar installed follow mr.old's instructions
if you click on search so all your previous search titles appear just highlight the top one then press "DELETE" key on your keyboard and so on to the next one
P.S. I have Windows98SE and IE6. I connect to Google.co.uk and don't use the Google Toolbar.
« Ravin » is correct then, malarky.
Tools > Internet Options... > Content > Autocomplete... > Clear forms.
Thanks <Ravin>, that did the trick!
