Good efficient registry cleaner?

Can someone recommend a FREE efficient REgistry Cleaner? Thanks. All the ones I have explored are fee paying ones.

Totally agree. I`ve seen many computers wrecked by owners that think two or three Registry Cleaners will improve their speed and improve performance - it`s not the case. If you regularly trial programs or add and remove software which can overload the registry I`d advocate backing up all data and restore to factory settings. Then only reload the software you actually need followed by the data backup. (Plus all the Windows Updates as well!)

I agree with 124 comments. Some Registry cleaners do more harm than good.
